Marc is an aspiring independent filmmaker and has been involved in filmmaking, arts and music since his early teens.

His early hands-on experience includes credit as actor for the 30 minute short “Wenn die Gitarre Erklingt” (Germany, 1990) and producing, screenwriting, directing and special make-up effects credits for the 25 minute short “Tales From the Wood” (Germany, 1996).

Marc’s passion for photography led him to be a part-time professional photographer since 2001. He has been working for several clients doing travel, product, portraiture, documentary and event photography (www.leicanthropie.com).

His love for movies has brought him back to independent filmmaking in 2003 producing and directing the music video “Summer Time” (Germany, 2003) and producing and directing the 10 minute short documentary “Thaneller Revisited” (Austria, 2008) which was one of the first projects under his newly founded production company Young Indie Films (www.youngindiefilms.com).

Marc also has an extensive education in music and has composed a number of original scores, one of them for  “九龍故事 – KOWLOON STORY“ (Hong Kong, 2009) produced by Juliane Block & himself. He has also been director of photography for this short film amongst others.

At the moment Marc is working as a cinematographer on a number of films as well as developing his own projects.
